one Moment in
Annihilation's waste,
one Moment , of the
Well of life to taste
The stars are setting and the Caravan
Stars for the Dawn
of Nothing – oh, make haste!

vois fuir la
caravane e'trange de nos jours.
Prends garde! Ne
perds pas ces doux moments si Courts!
Echanson, laisse
donc nos miseres futures ;
Donne la coupe ,
allons! La nuit passé ! Au secours!
در کارگه کوزه گری رفتم دوش
دیدم دو هزار کوزه گویا و خموش
ناگاه یکی کوزه برآورد خروش
کو کوزه گر وکوزه خر وکوزه فروش
b:
To English
And, strange to
tell, among that Earthen lot
Some could
articulate , while others not:
And suddenly one
more impatient cried –
"Who is the Potter,
pray ,and who the Pot?"
To France :
J'ai vu chez un
potier , dans de vastes espaces,
Deux mille pots ,
les uns muets , d'autres loquaces
A son voisin un
pot disait "Ou' sont alle's
Le potier ,
l'acheteur et le vendeur rapaces?"
